I'm linking up with Java's Follow Friday 40 and Over at Never Growing Old
and Hilary's Follow Friday Four Fill-In at Feeling Beachie!
1. Growing up, I was the only one in my family who was SPOILED ROTTEN. I was an only child for the first 11 years and my parents and grandparents spoiled me. When my parents adopted my three brothers, THEY spoiled me rotten. And no, I didn't mind one little bit!
2. On a typical morning, before I leave the house, I pull up the blind in the window that faces my car so Tucker can sit on the ledge and look out. He sits there and waits for me to return and, if I don't pull the blind up, he sticks his head through the slats and I'm scared he'll get hurt. I don't like to leave him so he goes most places with me. Pets sure are good at giving the guilt trips, aren't they?
3. No matter how hard I try, I am still afraid of heights. And closed in spaces and anything near my face. I was going to say snakes but I don't try to get over that!
4. Their facial expression is the first thing I notice about people. It's a pretty good tell-tale sign as to their mood---unless they're just deep in thought.
And that's it for the Friday HOPS this week! Y'all probably won't be hearing from me until Sunday or Monday because BIRDIE IS GRADUATING TOMORROW! And EVERYONE is coming home as well as some extended family! Meanwhile, HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND and HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
Enjoy your weekend! Congratulations to Birdie too.

ReplyDeletecongrats to Birdie!!! I hear you about #1 - I was an only child :)
ReplyDeleteYou know if you went up in a balloon with me sometime I could get you over that pesky fear of heights. It doesn't feel like you're actually going up. More like the ground is just falling away.
ReplyDeleteBig congrats to you and Miss Birdie on such a wonderful accomplishment. You must be just busting with pride.
My husband used to call me spoiled, until I pointed out that I'd been with him longer than my parents, so if I was spoiled, it was HIS fault!
ReplyDeleteStopping in to say "Happy Mother's Day!" Have a wonderful day. I'm afraid of heights too!
