Take Me Back Saturday

Taking a long walk down reminiscent road today with Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. I love their harmony to this very day! I'm sure everyone remembers this one--

CARRY ON is only one of my faves from these guys.

Anyone else out there still enjoying music from one of the greatest (if not THE greatest) music eras ever?

This was one of my favorites as a kid. Our House is my particular favorite. Wish I still had the record and jacket!!! Even apart they have the most beautiful voices but together.....amazing.

Gail-I did that with our lovelies- they are all four lovers of all genres of music from every era!

Barb-I still have it! Well, Birdie and DoodleBug have it downtown with them...my kids actually know what vinyl was. LOL

Annie- Not at all! They were around a long, long time ago. Probs before your time! They were amazing--especially during certain extracurricular activities while in college. LOL

I loved their music and I still listen to a lot of it. I think Neil Young is one of the best musicians of his time, and maybe this time too. Good post :)

Good very early morning Pam. Finally taking the time to stop by and see what you've been up too. It's just been beyond busy and even with taking the week off from blogging I still have a few things left to do.

I used to play their albums over & over. Good thing my mom liked them too. My husband and I have ritualized Sunday night as concert night. Each week we watch a live performance on TV. Last week as it happens, it was Graham Nash & David Crosby. In the past it's been Springsteen, Roger Waters, U2, the Stones etc. It's a lot of fun to crank the volume up and enjoy!!!

Being a transplant to the low-country of SC for 31 years is still not long enough to be called a ‘benyeh.’ If I stay until I’m dead I’ll probably go a ‘comeyeh’ since I am, originally, ‘from off’ (which is the upstate but, rules you know). By day I take care of my sweet little granddaughter, Baby M and do all those things I did when I was a SAHM raising four daughters which has translated to, ‘by day, I am exhausted.’ By night I blog, blog, blog, and blog some more or I sleep, depending on my level of exhaustion (do they still make Geritol?). I have a very unhealthy addiction to sweets (nearly any kind will do) and all comfort foods not covered under the ‘sweets’ category. I’m known for speaking my mind so, if you don’t want to know, don’t ask me. I love to find the humor in my empty nest life. I live life hard and smack into that brick wall almost daily because I’ve always had to learn the hard way. Why change now? I’m so glad you’ve come to laugh with me as I do this middle age, empty nest thing like a BOSS!
