It's the end of another week! That means it's time for the FRIDAY HOPS! If you are here for FIVE QUESTION FRIDAY only, then just scroll down!
Have a FANTASTIC weekend!
Hillary will not be hosting Friday Fill-In this week due to a difficult week---her sweet kitty, Alex, had surgery this week. All is well but, as you pet owners out there know, it's emotionally exhausting when your pet is not at 100%. Hop on over to Hillary's blog though (just click on the button above) and you can read about Alex and see that he is recuperating just fine!
Next is Five Question Friday from Mama M. at My Little Life.
This HOP is a great way to get to know each other better and to meet new friends! If you click on the button, it'll take you right over there to join in the fun!
Questions for Friday, July 1st:
1. If you had the opportunity to bungee jump, would you? That's a big, resounding Hell to the NO! Are you kidding me?! NO. Definitely NOT. NO way, No how!
2. Would you rather go to the movie theater or to the drive-in? That would depend on the time of year. I'd rather not sweat while watching a movie! What I really prefer is to watch movies in the comfort of my own home...which could be a control issue...
3. Do you have your groceries delivered? Hahahahahahahahaha! Oh, you were serious? No. I walk down the path of drudge work grocery shopping once every week.
4. Eyebrows: Do you wax, thread, pluck, or stay au naturel? Pluck. Actually, Deanie (DD2) does this for me whenever she comes home. Let me just add: OUCH!
5. Would the people you went to high school with be surprised by your life today? I don't know and I don't care. I didn't like them then and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like them now. I've never met a more less interesting, ridiculous, petty bunch of people in my entire life. College friends? They aren't surprised because we've all kept in touch over the years.
So funny! I feel the pretty much same about the movie thing. Stream them from netflix on my laptop is my favorite way. But I think my kids would love to go out in the outdoors and see the movie. I still remember going when I was little...Sleeping Beauty and I was 3. That was a long time ago...
ReplyDeleteWhile I agree that high school classmates were not an interesting bunch, I think they would be surprised at the turns my life has taken in the last almost 50 (really?) years.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, to not liking being in a movie theater. Is it control? Good to have a better reason than the healthier popcorn at home.
You really should live next door. I think we'd have a great time! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou know, I wouldn't bungee jump; but I'd jump outta a perfectly good plane.
ReplyDeleteYou're doing it again! Making the weeks end too quickly!
ReplyDeleteNo way would I bungee jump, either...also, not a fan of sitting in cinemas...I always get a stinky-breathed neighbour!
Who DOES enjoy grocery shopping?
Have a wonderful weekend...cuddles for Tucker from me, please!
Candi- I like to watch Netflix from the Wii on the big tv...just like being there!
ReplyDeleteStephanie- Do we really want to mention how long ago high school was? LOL I say control issue on the movie because I can make people shut up at home, not at the theater. LOL
Judy- I know we would!
Michele- Girl, you probably would! LOL
Desiree-It's crazy how fast, right?! I always get some idiot who wants to kick the back of my seat...good thing I don't own a gun. Tucker sends puppy kisses!
No bungee jumping for me either!
ReplyDeleteI feel pretty much the same about my high school classmates.
Have a great 4th!..stay cool.
Kathy- Yeah girl, right?! Crazy people do that! LOL Hope you have a good one too!
ReplyDeleteNor would I do a bungee jump!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have drive-in movies here (rain would be the main reason why!) but it's something I would really, really love to do.
Got my eyebrows waxed recently, and that's definitely how I'll go from now on, with an odd self-inflicted pluck in-between.
In CT, I could do my grocery shopping online, have it delivered and the bags carried into the kitchen for a minimal surcharge. It was the best service EVER, especially when hubby was too sick and I had to work. God I miss that. I hate grocery shopping and we have no Publix here in MB. Sucks! Missed you! Still catching up.
