My goals for the challenge remain safe.
Water intake: Still getting in the 64 oz plus.
Exercise: I walked every day again for a WEEKLY total of 13 miles and I continued Pilates 5 of the 7 days- alternating my focus between the Pilates fat burning workout and the focus group (arms and abs). The heat around here is STILL of the brutal type.
Calories: The calories remain within the challenge limit---
Here's the breakdown for week 8:
- Monday: 1366
- Tuesday: 1253
- Wednesday: 1154
- Thursday:1190
- Friday: 1098
- Saturday:1231
- Sunday: 1322
- WEEKLY TOTAL: 8614 calories
Goal changes? None this week.
Here are the numbers for week 8:
Weight loss: -1 lb (Total for 8 weeks: 34 pounds gone forever!)And, NO, I am NOT frustrated because of only 1 lost pound. I'll take any loss I can get and I am aware that it had to slow down at some point. I'm surprised (and grateful) that it hasn't done so until now. We women do have those hateful weight fluctuations.
Inches: -1 total (chest:= -0"; hips = -1"; waist = -0"; neck = -0") Total for 8 weeks:-20.5 inches off forever!
Hope everyone has a fantabulous week! And don't forget to tell you inner voice to $%^& off!
YAY for you! I will take a 1 lb. loss any day. You have the right attitude. This will take you all the way to goal. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteWell done on all of that, you have a great attitude, and some weeks will see more of a loss than others.
ReplyDeleteYou're doing really well! Ignore that silly voice!
Congratulations! I would applaude you, but it's hard to do while eating my morning ice cream.
ReplyDeleteI love that you say the weight and inches are gone FOREVER. Absolutely great attitude!
ReplyDeleteI admire you for walking even though it was hot! You continue to make progress! Yay!
ReplyDeleteOf all the successes you are having, the one that I would (and do) have the most trouble with is the water intake. Well done for sticking with it so well.
ReplyDeleteAnd a one pound loss is still a LOSS. Let's raise a glass of green tea to another one down!
Hey you, congratulations on your continuing quest. Every lb. matters. Pls. give Tucker a big hug for me.
ReplyDeletedown- Agreed! As long as it's a loss, I'm pretty happy!
ReplyDeleteMimi- Thank you! I'm hoping to lose it for good this time!
Gail- Thanks! ICE CREAM?! I love ice cream! LOL
Jo-And I am determined to keep them gone forever!
Betty- We get out there around 6 every morning and it's already HOT! Once Tucker's carrier comes in, I should be able to walk further.
Stephanie- I used to have issues with the water intake too. The challenge has really helped me stick with it- now, it's a habit! And the green tea is still part of my everyday intake- after the 64 oz of water, the green tea is my reward!
Michele- Thanks! I will give Tucky a hug from you and I will take his picture once his carrier arrives!
Keep up the great work! I'm so proud of you. I told my inner voice what you said and it's demanding a blog post of its own!
ReplyDeleteAfter reading your post, I feel like a lazy a&&! I need to get moving. Literally and figuratively.
ReplyDeleteThe 34 pounds is wonderful and OMG on the inches! That's a great accomplishment.
ReplyDeleteTerrific Job, 34 pounds is so awesome! Yes, a slow down is expected after losing that much that fast, but even with the slow down you still had a decent loss this week. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteYou go girl!! Congratulations that is fantastic! You are right one pounds is awesome - going in the right direction! You are an inspiration to me!
ReplyDeletePatrice- Tell your inner voice that Wendell gets his own post before anyone else. LOL
ReplyDeleteCarmie- Come on down here and walk with us!
Debby-Thanks! Now if I could just get myself to appreciate it and stop getting frustrated because it's not more than that.
Thrice-I am increasing my exercise this week. I know a slow down is to be expected but I'm just not ready for it. LOL
Denise-Thank you!
Congratulations on another pound lost. There will be times that the weight loss won't be as "grand" as we want it to be but each 1 pound lost adds up. So enjoy your 1 pound loss this week! :)
