Picture this-
Here's what Tucker and I saw on our walks these last few mornings (these were taken with the camera on my phone)-
While I appreciate and enjoy interesting and beautiful morning skies, I am giving a HUGE wishful push OUT TO SEA to hurricane IRENE! And I am blowing raspberries in her general direction!

Those are gorgeous! I'm officially jealous! :)
ReplyDeleteWe'll blow raspberries with you! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat spectacular sunrises. What a Creator! Nice to know when bad things are happening all around there's still peace to be found.
What gorgeous photos - your cell takes great pictures! I'm joining you in trying to push Irene out - we're keeping a very wary eye on her!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. Even though I'm way inland (Illinois), I'm with you on Irene!
ReplyDeleteAmy- Thank you! We have really been having some glorious morning skies lately!
ReplyDeleteJudy- Good! The more raspberries we blow the better the chances she'll get the message! LOL Amen to that!
Mommie Dearest- Thank you! The news was a little better for us this morning but it could all change by the next report! We're watching carefully too!
Kathy-Thank you! Yes, we're hoping she stays way out to sea! And any that follow her as well!
Wow those pictures are amazing. Sometimes its the little things like beautiful sunsets or sunrises that makes us realize how truly blessed we are. Gracie
ReplyDeleteThat looks like God is getting ready to tell you something! Hopefully, it's not "Here Comes Irene"!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGracie- Thank you! You're absolutely right!
ReplyDeleteit's- I think what He's telling me is that Irene is going away! LOL
Stunning! I love sky photos like this.
ReplyDeleteWere you communing with God? All your photos look like those religious paintings you see or like Monty Python.
ReplyDeleteI've my fingers crossed you guys don't get hit too hard. Of course we all wish it'd just come our way.
Those phone cameras are pretty good. You have some really beautiful shots. Guess it helps to have great skyscapes to shoot. Love that second one.
ReplyDeleteDebby- I do too! It's one very good reason to get up early and walk! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMichele-Right now it looks like the outer banks of NC will get hit. However, this could all change so we're not out of the woods yet. I just wish it would go out to sea! Monty Python! LOL Love them! That's what my blowing raspberries in the general direction of Irene is based on- remember the Holy Grail movie when the soldier says I fart in your general direction? LOL
Stephanie-The phone cameras have come a long way! Thank you! It also helps to get up early! LOL
Beautiful pictures! I know you are waiting for a storm, but how about that earthquake!
ReplyDeleteSusan
Susan- Hopefully, the storm is not going to hit here! Deanie called from DC to tell me all about the earthquake. She was so scared. Maybe this will get her to move back home! LOL
ReplyDeleteStunning skies, a wonderful incentive to walk.
ReplyDeleteI love those pictures. I don't get to much for sunrise pictures, just busy with the kids but I love the sunset ones (like tonights). Thank you for sharing your walk.
ReplyDeleteI'll hope and pray that all is okay for everyone down your way.
Take care and God Bless!!
You got those beautiful pictures on your PHONE??? And hey...I'm blowing raspberries and huffing and puffing with you!
ReplyDeleteHugs~
These are so beautiful and I appreciate them as much as you appreciated my sunset photos :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pictures...I love the late summer skies!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great view while walking. How many days per week do you excercise?
ReplyDeleteGail- Thanks! It does inspire me to get up and get moving. Well, that and Tucker!
ReplyDeleteJulie- Thank you! Everyone is fine- we are just getting the outer bands today and that’s the end of it. Thankfully!
Sush-Yes, on my phone! I couldn’t believe how they turned out. Thanks! She’s only sharing her outer bands with us!
Lindy-Thank you! So sweet!
Joyce- I do too! Thanks!
Mama-I walk 7 days/week. Five days I walk at least 5 miles and the weekends are only 2 each day.
Deirda- Thank you so much! I’m heading over there now!
