ReplyDeleteAwesome! I don't think I'll ever get hold of the eating slower thing either. I'm just drinking a LOT of water for now. Sounds like you're doing amazing, though. Keep up the good work!!!
ReplyDelete3.5lbs is awesome, well done!
ReplyDeleteYou didn;t put your link up twice, there are 2 challengers with blogs called empty nest, which is why this one os listed as emptynest1 in the sidebar, it was the only way I could separate you two!
Cheering you on here!
ReplyDeleteGood to see someone kicking some butt in this challenge! Good for you!
ReplyDeleteI just love watching your progress through this! One thing that's hard for me is that I tend to be an 'all or nothing' kind of person, so I've had to learn that if I fall off the wagon (so to speak) I don't have to wallow, but can just get up and get on with it!
ReplyDeleteMKM-Well, I know I'm working hard! LOL Thanks!
ReplyDeleteFM- I think I got so used to it while the lovelies were growing up that I have no idea how to slow down now! Thanks!
TC- Oh thank goodness! I thought I was losing my mind. Again. LOL Thanks!
BB- Thanks so much!
Rochelle- Thank you!
Judy- Definitely the right way to go. Dwelling is defeating! No dwelling. What's past is past. Focus on today and today only.
Wowza! I think you're doing great. You have a strong plan and I love your accountability and record-keeping. I'm not so very good at that. Stay strong and as focused as you are and you're gonna love how you look in your holiday dress! On to week #2! Blessings, Jackie
ReplyDeleteWOW!! Amazing results! keep it coming, now and stay strong!
ReplyDeleteHoly Shizz!! -5.5 - you are my hero! Great job Pam!
ReplyDeleteIJ- Thank you so much! I'm working hard and it's paying off...finally!
ReplyDeleteMichele-Thanks! I'm trying!
Biz- Thanks! You might say I'm working my a$$ off! LOL
Trying to eat slower is sooooooo hard! Do you put down your utensils between each bite? That practice has helped me some. Although, I am quicker than a cowboy in a John Wayne movie, when picking back up the fork!!
ReplyDeleteYou're doing so well, and we're all very proud of you. I'm like you, and find it difficult to eat slowly as well.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!! I need to start keeping a calorie count.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you're doing great, keep going :-) and don't give up. Enjoy your evening!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on that awesome number......woohoo..... Keep up the good work
ReplyDeleteWay. To. Go!! You're doing fantastic. I've got to get back to keeping a calorie count, too. I'd put on a couple of pounds before we left, and I'm sure I put on a couple more while we were gone. And since I'm a shortie (5' 1.5"), every pound shows up (especially since I collect all my spare poundages around my midsection!! ugh! I hope I can do as well as you!!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing awesome! Love how you organize your post. I would love to eat slower as well.
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing that you have lost that much. I love seeing how much you have lost. Keep it up.
ReplyDeleteWell done you are doing great!! I have trouble with slowing down too, I inhale before I even realise. Its something I have to work on too.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck for this week.
Betty! Thanks! BTW, you are going to be mentioned in tomorrow’s post.
ReplyDeletebeth- It really is and by the time I think to do it, I’m finished with my meal. I do put them down, but that doesn’t seem to stop me. LOL
Diane-Thank you! All of the support has been key to any success I’ve had!
Debby- Thanks! The calorie count has really helped me. A lot!
Eva- Thank you! I’m not going to give up. It’s not an option this time!
Fatoutofskinny- Thank you! I’m trying!
Kathy-I’m 5’10” and it still shows up on me. LOL Can’t wait to see your post on the vacay!
Bluezy- Thanks! Slower eating is easier said than done.
FG- Thank you! I love seeing it too. LOL
LG-Thank you! Yes, it’s like that for me too! Old habits and all that.
Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI snort my food down really fast. I learned, when I was fifteen and working at Taco Bell, to suck down food fast on my break and I never unlearned it.
Wow! Well done1
ReplyDeleteI have nailed the eating slow thing, it's a case of sticking with it then it becomes second nature. That and not eating after 7pm are the only diet I ever do, and it does work!
You're great, I love visiting here on Mondays to see how you did. Hope that's encouragement!
40- I learned my fast eating habit when the lovelies were growing up. No slow meals for mom! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMimi- Thanks! I'm working on the slower eating and I don't eat after 8:00. And the weight is coming off! Thankfully! And YES! It is encouragement!
Awesome Pam. That is awesome. Keep it up, you are do so great. I am so proud of you.
