It's the end of another week! That means it's time for the FRIDAY HOPS! If you are here for FIVE QUESTION FRIDAY or FRIDAY FRIEND CONNECT, or FOLLOW FRIDAY 40 AND OVER then just scroll down!
HUGE thank yous and hugs to the gals who sponsor these Friday memes!
Have a FANTASTIC weekend!
This week’s statements:
1. When I was little, all I wanted was a
brother. And I ended up with THREE when my parents adopted three boys! It was the best thing EVER!
2. I always want to love to
run but no matter how hard I try, I don’t.
I try almost every day but I hated running in college and, apparently, I still hate it now. I'll just stick with walking my 5 miles every day.
3. The
long and short of it all was that
the time went by so fast while raising the lovelies that there wasn't any long to it and short is an understatement.
4. The mist around the mountains makes me
---mountains? We don't have any mountains in the low-country. LOL
Next is Five Question Friday from Mama M. at My Little Life.

Questions for Friday, September 23rd: (Special thanks to @kristinascackle, Sandy,@donettadalman, @gasfamily and @Lovely_Lici for their question suggestions! I'm dying for some fresh questions over here and besides that, I enjoy linking YOU in this little blog hop of ours, so please, please, please c'mon over to my community and offer up some question suggestions. OR, watch for my Twitter shout out for 5QF questions on Thursdays! If you go the Twitter route, remember to @5crookedhalos me and use hashtag #5QF!)
1. Dream job...realistic and completely unrealistic. Realistic- I'd love to try my hand at research. I love to research and I learning new things. Although, this might become boring at some point. Still, I'd love to give it a shot. Unrealistic- I don't actually think I have one for this....
2. Do you fart in front of your significant other? Darhin', ladies in the south do not do this evah. Hahahahahaha Hubs and I have four daughters and none of the women in this family are shy. About anything. Even fluffing. :)
3. What's the furthest you've ever traveled from home? How far and where was it? I think that would be California. My grandmother and I flew out to Nevada to stay with my Aunt Betty and we all drove back to SC so we could see the sights.
4. How do you celebrate birthday for your kids? Family only or friends? ... Alternate for those without kiddos: How did you celebrate birthdays as a kid? When the lovelies were growing up we always had both- a family celebration on the actual birthday and a friend party on the weekend. If the birthday fell on a weekend day, we still did both! AND, if any of them is ever here on their birthdays, we will still do both!
5. Fave thing about fall? It is impossible to narrow this down to one thing! Football, cooler temps, football, changing leaves, football, the holidays, football, the end of hurricane season...did I mention football?! I love everything about fall!
AND let's not forget FOLLOW FRIDAY 40 AND OVER with JAVA over at NEVER GROWING OLD
AND FRIDAY FRIEND CONNECT with Jan over at Midlife Parenting
