No worries here! Staying steady is what happens sometimes so, onward to another week!
You're doing well on keeping your goals, I'm sure the scale will move soon, it's just the curse of week 2/3
ReplyDeleteI wish I had learned of the challenge sooner..but it will be fun following your progress!!! You're doing great!!! (Nice tracking, btw!!!)
ReplyDeleteGreat loss. I noticed in your pic that you can't tell who the mom is. You are looking good! One day at a time!
ReplyDeleteHave another great week!
You at least lost something! Over the last 2/3 weeks. So, I just wish you luck for this week. We can do this!
ReplyDeleteYes, staying steady does happen. I held steady for several months in the spring.Hope you see a loss at your next weigh in! Michele
ReplyDeleteTC- Thanks! The movement on the scale doesn't bother me anymore. Oh, it used to. But no more. It will either move or it won't. That doesn't mean the weight isn't going to come off!
ReplyDeleteCookie-It's so easy to track on livestrong.com Keep watching, I'm sure there will be another challenge after the holidays. Meanwhile, there are websites that offer free challenges that you can join in at any time!
Bluezy-Thanks but the reason you can't tell who the mom is is because I'm not in the picture! LOL Those are our 4 daughters!
Chaquenha- Scale movement doesn't bother me anymore! Well, as long as it doesn't go UP! LOL And you're right- WE CAN DO THIS!
Michele- Thanks! My outlook is that the scale will move, or it won't. LOL Meanwhile, I'm totally enjoying a more healthy lifestyle!
Scales don't tell the whole story. You're getting so much fitter and building important muscle. Measuring is sometimes a good mood-enhancer when the weight is holding steady. Remember muscles weigh more.
ReplyDeleteI think you are doing great. Bodies just adjusting this week. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteSome weeks your body just wants to stay put - but you are totally committed so i have no doubt you will keep plugging along and sty with it! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteYep, one day at a time. You're spot-on with logging your food and exercise. Here's wishing you a great week ahead - one day at a time. Blessings, Jackie
ReplyDeleteStephanie- I was measuring during the summer challenge but haven't been doing that this time. I will if a lack of scale movement starts bothering me. But it's not so far. Yeah, that's me- Mrs. Muscle! LOL
ReplyDeleteFatoutofskinny-Thanks! You too! Hope your new work week is successful!
Rochelle- Right?! It used to annoy the hell out of me. Now, not so much. I just keep going one day at a time!
Jackie- Thanks so much!
I still think you are doing an awesome job - my goals this week - shred every day, and try to eat slower too!
ReplyDeleteBiz- What is this shred thing of which you speak? LOL Seriously, what is it? I'm still trying to eat slower. It's just not working so well. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou're doing a great job with the goals! Your calorie totals will show up in a loss soon. Sometimes it doesn't happen right away!
ReplyDeleteAs usual you are continuing being a paragon of virtue. There may be a sainthood in your future yet if you keep this up.
ReplyDeleteI admire your tenacity to keep this daily journal. I like so need to do this. I know to see your progress in front of you gives you that visiual gratification that sometimes the scales doesn't. At least you know you're doing the right thing when you look over your accomplishments for the week. Way to go, girl! =D
ReplyDelete80s Rapture with 4Ms
Betty- Ice those shin splits and they'll be good to go! I've been icing my foot all weekend and it was fine today. Birdie says to ice it after walking so I did that today- all is good! Yay!
ReplyDeleteE.Jane- I'm not at all worried about the scale movement- or lack thereof. It'll move when it's supposed to!
Michele- Sorry...I had to pick myself up off the floor from laughing at your comment regarding sainthood. LOL That's one thing I know for certain that I'll NEVER be nominated for! But thanks anyway! :)
Cathy- Thanks! It really does help to keep track on livestrong.com and, of course, my daily journal.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is very ambitious! I try to drink enough water and not eat after 10pm (ya... it should be a bit earlier... but baby steps!) I need to get some more physical exercise. Thanks for the reminders of all the things I could do to fit into a holiday dress. That really is a good goal to have!
ReplyDeleteI'm very impressed that you're working so hard! I'm sure that you'll reach all of your goals! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteCaren- Wow, your site is amazing. It's going to take me all night to go through everything!
ReplyDeleteENI- I certainly hope so! Thanks!
Well done!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Stephanie.
Mimi- Yep, that's me...Mrs Muscle! LOL There sure better be some muscle after all this hard work!
ReplyDeleteOne day at a time is all we can do! You have a really good attitude and I'm sure the scale will be moving again soon.
ReplyDeleteI know it's a little irritating when you reach a plateau, but I think if you dropped your calories any lower your body would go into starvation mode and preserve rather than lose. Is it possible that that's what's happening even now? You're one determined, fantastic woman!
ReplyDeleteMKM- True! Thanks- it took me awhile to get to it, but I'm here now!
ReplyDeleteJudy- I'm not sure what it is. But I'm not bothered by it. It will move when it moves! You're too sweet! Thank you!
You are doing goo on your challenge, keep up the good work. Pockets
ReplyDeleteGreat job! I love your attitude about the number on the scale! I am trying to get to that place and not let it bother me so much! Keep up the good work =)
ReplyDeletePockets- Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteAlison- Thanks! Hey, it only took me 53 years to get there. LOL
Dr. Phil says to put your fork or spoon down between every bite. That might help you slow down. Not that I've tried it myself, but it sounds like a good idea. ;-)
ReplyDeleteBeverly- I do that but break the sound barrier picking it back up!
ReplyDeleteSorry I didn't come around to comment earlier this week. Your attitude is wonderful! I would have an AWFUL time trying to stick to 1200 calories a day, so I'm not at all surprised that you have been on what you call the "upper road". I tried to do 1200 a few days this week, I just couldn't, I was constantly hungry.
