Total calories for the week: 8567
Total CARDIO for the week: 25.62 miles AND 10 hours (most of the hours were from walking/jogging with a few from working with a trainer friend who is WICKED on those cardio exercises. Dude. Really.)
Weight total for Biz's Holiday Challenge 2011 week SEVEN: -1 lb (for a SEVEN week total of: -14.5 lbs)
Weight total for Give Yourself the Best Gift and Christmas Dress Challenge week SIX: -1 lb (for a SIX week total of: -12.5 lbs)
Two points:
- I was going to start walking a second time in the evenings (in an effort to see if I could do another 5 miles) but evidently it is impossible to do when I have had my one gallon of water for the day and do the pee pee dance after only one mile. Wonder if I can get them to put porta potties out there?
- Apparently, on livestrong.com, your daily allotment of calories decreases as your weight decreases. This is incentive to track your weight loss? HA! I don't think so! No matter. I am sticking with my 1200-1400/day. Thankyouverymuch.
Remember y'all: One day at a time!
Congrats. You are doing so well.....keep it up.

ReplyDeleteMichele- It's a royal pain getting that water down every day. And then it's a race to the bathroom. LOL
Stephanie- I agree! I don't think going below 1200 is all that wise anyway!
Judy- Thanks so much! Yeah, less than 1200? Who DOES that?
Shawn- Thanks! I'm hoping to be down enough by Christmas to wear this sweater I have that I'm dying to put on!
Great job Pam, I always knew you could do it, and yes less than 1200 cal. is almost anorexic...

ReplyDeleteAlessandra-Thanks! That's what I thought- geez, 1200 is few enough!
ReplyDeleteMichele-And I used to be a machine eating away at everything I could get my hands on! LOL Thanks!

ReplyDeleteYou're amazing the way you put yourself out there for all the world to see. I'm totoally proud of you, girl! You so rock!!! =D
ReplyDeleteNow that its less than 90 degrees maybe I'll add walking the dogs to my fake morning work outs.
ReplyDeletePS I can't mix drinks, that's why its beer and wine at my house.
Oh my gosh....girl? You are doing so well on this, I'm very very proud of you. The calorie intake is just totally making me dizzy. High 5. Well done. And yes, I love the pampas grass [photo below] too...isn't it gorgeous? It comes in white and pink.
ReplyDeleteGlad you stopped by today, I was thinking of how you were doing. Around here, busy putting Halloween stuff away for another year, and taking a break. Thought I'd stop by.
Biz- I WAS rocking it. Until I made that dang delicious gumbo of yours. LOL I sent Hubs a picture of it and he threatened my life if I don't leave him some. :)
ReplyDeleteTC-Thanks! Now if I can just keep it up I'll be able to wear that red sweater and look good in it!
Cathy-Thanks! I've found so many supportive and encouraging friends out there, like you, that's it's easy!
MT- I started walking a second time in the afternoons today and it felt so hot compared to our mornings. But, thankfully, we're no where near 90! Guess bartending is out then. LOL
Anni-Thank you! I swear that's not pink-doesn't it look purple to you? I've got to put the Halloween stuff up too. And get out the Turkey stuff! LOL
I always enjoy seeing your progress.
