Challenge Day!

Today is the end of the TENTH week of Biz's Holiday 2011 Challenge and the end of the NINTH week of Give Yourself the Best Gift and the Christmas Dress Challenge! (All buttons are on my sidebar but you can just click the links to get to their blogs OR click the links above!)

Here we go!

Check-In for ALL CHALLENGES:

  • Drink 64 oz of water daily: YES!
  • Exercise at least one hour 7 days/week: NO. This weekend messed me up what with the heat and that darn room we're redecorating. But it was just Saturday and Sunday that I only got 45 minutes.
  • Keep daily calories between 1200 and 1400: YES!
  • Post daily exercise and food on livestrong.com: YES!
  • Post weekly results: YES!
  • No food after 8:00 pm: NOPE! Our timing is off right now with the room redecorating so there have been a couple of nights that supper was after 8:00.
  • Eat slower: Eh, so-so.
  • Three days of strength training exercises: YES- sort of. It's not exactly strength training but it does require strength of the physical and mental type--I'm talking about DIY home improvement here. UGH.

Here's the calorie breakdown:
  • Monday: 1161
  • Tuesday: 1213
  • Wednesday: 1268
  • Thursday: 1266
  • Friday: 1356
  • Saturday: 1207
  • Sunday: 1240

Total calories for the week: 8711
Total CARDIO for the week: 24.84 miles AND 8.6 hours (NOT fantastic, but DIY home improvements took priority...again- UGH)
Weight total for Biz's Holiday Challenge 2011 week TEN: -1 lb (for a TEN week total of: -17.5 lbs)
Weight total for Give Yourself the Best Gift and Christmas Dress Challenge week NINE: -1 lb (for a NINE week total of: -15.5 lbs)

Pictures will be up ASAP of the room. The paint does look great! But there's just so much else to be done. By Wednesday.

Remember y'all: One day at a time!

  1. The room reno must be worth a few calories - just sweatin' out the aggro, right?

  2. I don't stop by often enough (because you know, I suck and life just zips by). But I love it when I come back here and find you opening a can of whoop ass on your fitness. I think you are doing great! 17.5lbs in 10 weeks is fantastic!

Here's hoping we both get through the holidays with as little collateral damage as possible!

  7. Even when you're off a bit you still lose! That is so great. Sounds like the room remodel is throwing you some curves but you are handling them well. Good for you! You have really kicked butt in this challenge!
