I did it. Oh yeah, I can cross hang the Christmas stockings off the checklist. Yay! For those of you who read this little blog, you know I mentioned previously that this was a major TO-DO on the Christmas checklist this year. If you're just checking in, you can read more about that here. And, after lots of online oogling and book reading (I'm always reading crafting, decorating books, etc) it finally came to me. My idea was to merge a simple stocking pattern found online with a pillow design that I discovered in an old Martha Stewart decorating book.

Betty- There are some good ones. Of course, all the recipes seem to include loads of SUGAR. LOL
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful stockings! Thank you for sharing your creative talent!
ReplyDeleteThose are very pretty and festive. I don't do any crafting any more. It's odd since I used to do so many back when the kids were at home.
ReplyDeleteJoyce- They are pretty but not quite my style. Good idea though.
ReplyDeleteSusan- Those are not my talent-they belong to the blogshare blogger of the day. But she is talented!
Stephanie- I don't craft stockings ever. My mother did for a while but now we have the needlepoint ones from Land's End or LLBean...something like that.
Pretty stockings! I'm sorry I'm late visiting from the Hodgepodge. I like those red rain boots! Festive looking :) I know how excited you must be getting about your house guests arrivals! I'm thrilled for you.
ReplyDeleteSWe-e-e-e-e-t!!!! Gotta love 'em.
ReplyDeleteI just read your hodgepodge also, and loved your responses. I bet you ARE getting anxious for your family/company for the holidays. LOVE the red boots on your wish list and really LOVED the heart garland in the trees.
