This is what they're doing inside all day long. Every. Single. Day.
Sorry it's so dark- I never thought even once to turn on a light.
Being a transplant to the low-country of SC for 31 years is still not long enough to be called a ‘benyeh.’ If I stay until I’m dead I’ll probably go a ‘comeyeh’ since I am, originally, ‘from off’ (which is the upstate but, rules you know). By day I take care of my sweet little granddaughter, Baby M and do all those things I did when I was a SAHM raising four daughters which has translated to, ‘by day, I am exhausted.’ By night I blog, blog, blog, and blog some more or I sleep, depending on my level of exhaustion (do they still make Geritol?). I have a very unhealthy addiction to sweets (nearly any kind will do) and all comfort foods not covered under the ‘sweets’ category. I’m known for speaking my mind so, if you don’t want to know, don’t ask me. I love to find the humor in my empty nest life. I live life hard and smack into that brick wall almost daily because I’ve always had to learn the hard way. Why change now? I’m so glad you’ve come to laugh with me as I do this middle age, empty nest thing like a BOSS!

I love watching doggy play! Our three do this throughout the day too. The first time I saw them, I thought it was a dog fight, but then learned that they just like to play hard. Ah, doggies! Good for the soul. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThat is SO cute! It took some fast talking to get my grandkids to stay away from the dogs when they're playing. They were certain that the dogs were fighting and wanted to get in between them to stop the fight. Not a good idea.
ReplyDeleteMy dogs? At 11 1/2 and 12 1/2, they pretty much spend the day...s l e e p i n g.
All day? I would get tired of that. It is good exercise for them though.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
They are so cute - at your house LOL
ReplyDeleteNice that they are such friends, though, isn't it?
I don't know where dogs get the energy to play like that all day. There must be something in their chow.
Being the mother of 4 girls, you may not recognize this as pure "boy energy", but trust me, it's just how my son and his friends used to play. All day. Every day. I think it's why we invented back yards!
ReplyDeleteI love it! When our daughter moved in with her Charlie he and our girl Skye would do that all day long too. Now after two years it has slowed down a bit but I do enjoy watching them.
ReplyDeleteRochelle- They are having such fun! I thought they were about to fight too, but just playing!
ReplyDeleteJudy- At one point today, they sat there barking at each other for over 30 minutes! I was ready to shoot myself. LOL
Kim- Oh yeah. All day. Or maybe it just seems that way because they are so loud and obnoxious. LOL
Stephanie- It really is good that they are such good friends. Today there must have been something in the air because they really didn't stop much at all!
Kara- Yeah, I tried to get these boys to go outside and play. No luck! They much preferred being right under my feet. LOL
Betty- Right! I do have a yard but they like for me to go out with them. Strider is here until August. I might shoot myself before then.
Debby- A slow down would be a blessing! I am glad they get along so well though!
They are super cute, especially Tucker. I'm with you, when my dogs start, they go on forever, I want to shoot myself...or them...but they sure can be entertaining at times. One of my chihuahuas loves the cats to death, she follows them everywhere and tries to kiss them or lick their ears, I think the cats want to shoot her too...
ReplyDeleteLol re Tucker and Strider, tho I'm sure it would drive you mad when it keeps going on, and on..
ReplyDeleteI'm very pleased that you realised you were on the wrong week of c25k!!!
