More like the summer fizzle stay the same.
I'm over it people. It's time for a drastic change. I think I've come up with it, but that's for tomorrow's post.
I'm staying under myfitnesspal's recommended daily calories. But I'm not staying at 1200. O, hell no. And I have no idea why it won't put 6/11 up there- the total that day was 1726. Today's is missing for obvious reasons.
I didn't have any trouble with the 7 hours of exercise- that was a cinch. Though, for the most part, it was just walking and/or running.
And except for today where I missed it by 15 minutes--- oh well...
Next week's weekly challenge is to try a new fitness activity or exercise equipment. I hope to do that via joining the senior center (you can read about that HERE) and/or a new DVD I just purchased- The Biggest Loser- cardio max.
I didn't stick to the menu that I planned last week for two reasons- a couple of those recipes were ridiculous with the prep time being all day long and part of the night AND, I didn't want to. Stubborn much? Oh yeah. Definitely.
Anyway, there's a big change coming soon. Stay tuned.
I'll leave you with this clip from The Cosby Show- love me some Bill Cosby! Now, you can watch the whole thing, but the best part begins at 6:45- where Cliff talks about his Father's Day gifts over the years and then about how mothers get better gifts because they are better at promoting themselves! Enjoy!
Can't wait to hear about the big changes!
ReplyDeleteI think that even if you aren't losing, the fact that you know how to maintain is a good sign! It will help you in the end. Good luck at the senior center! Make it a great week!
Pam,
ReplyDeleteI consume more calories at one meal than you do most days!!! *Bowing* Oh Great One...how do you do it???
What is the big change????
You have me sitting on the edge of my chair!!!
I just love reading your posts. I sit and laugh. I really enjoyed the video clip too.
ReplyDeleteWell, I can't wait to read the next surprise you have.
I think you are doing great.
You know I was thinking this morning when I got out of the shower that I look like I am five months pregnant.
I must have liked that stage to want to look like it full time.
Geez, I need to be running 10 miles a day. :)
Have a great day
You're doing great, Pam.
ReplyDeleteExcited to hear about your big changes too =)
You better share either Monday or Tuesday or I'll have to wait a full week to find out what you have up your sleeve and you know that won't happen, I'll just have to call you.....yeah right, don't know your number....but I can find it if I have too.
ReplyDeleteIt's not easy but you're hanging in there Pam. Your exercise is awesome. Me too with walk/jogging, gotta do a bit more. Gonna try stretching and seeing if I can limber up a bit.
Take care Pam and have a blessed day!!
Rochelle- I can't wait to see if I stick with the changes. I have to wonder if it's only a matter of time before the maintenance becomes a gain. Just call me Ms. Negativity today.
ReplyDeleteShawn- Don't sit on the edge of your chair- it's only big to me, I doubt anyone else will think much of it! Keeping the calories down is not an easy task. I just have to do it. Or stay fat for the rest of my life.
Kim- I look about 8 months myself. LOL And I hate it. And it's not going away. Maybe this whole age thing is interfering. I just don't know.
Betty- I think that's exactly what happened. I don't always remember to click that one last button at the end of the day. Thanks!
Kia- Thanks, I just wish I was doing better. I have such a time settling for less than what I want. Maybe the no loss is related to a lesson I'm NOT learning. LOL
Julie- Thanks girl! I'll gladly give you my cell number! I'll share tomorrow!
i remember that episode--i loved that show!
ReplyDelete1200 calories per day seems too little, is that the same for people of different height and weight? Waiting to find out about the changes, I think I've got some too...
ReplyDeleteLP- I did too! I watched it over and over again on Netflix until those poo heads took it off.
ReplyDeleteAlessandra- WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? I don't know about the 1200- it just seems to be 'the' number.
1200 is sooo little!!! I took some crazy diet drug back in my day and it totally decreased my appetite and I barely made it to 1200-and lost some serious weight...BUT 1200 is just not a feasible amount of food to take in, right?? Your body needs fuel.
ReplyDeleteAnd how do you do it??? I just have to eat or I'll die. ALL the time.
