- What are your plans for the 4th of July? Not much. We're just cooking out for DoodleBug, Birdie and a few of their friends.
- What's your favorite ethnic food? I'm not much into ethnic foods- I'm sort of a picky eater. However, I do enjoy Italian food sometimes!
- What's your least favorite chore? Anything house cleaning related.
- What really "stopped you in your tracks" and made you think twice? I can't think of a single thing.
- Would you rather dry your clothes on a clothes line or in a dryer? A dryer. They're softer that way and, down here in the low-country, things drying outside don't ever seem to get completely dry due to all the humidity. When I was growing up we usually hung our clothes on the line to dry and I did enjoy the fresh air smell on our sheets. And running in between the sheets while they were hanging on the line.

Happy 4th, Pam! I hope your cookout is delish and lots of fun!
ReplyDeleteHave a great cookout and wonderful Fourth with the Fam. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love this sort of thing! I'm not usually a big fan of ethnic foods either, but I love Mediteranian/Greek food!
ReplyDeleteI had my husband put a clothesline in our yard when we moved to this house (which, sadly, broke this year!) just so I could dry sheets on it in the summer time. I love that smell! (Also handy for hanging wet pool towels on!)
Your plans for the Fourth sound like ours. We used to have a big 4th of July party each year but it slowly tapered off, and now we look forward to a quiet day with the family! Happy 4th!
whats your least favorite chore. basically all of them. hahahah
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th Miss Pam! Try to stay dry in all the humidity today.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, I did that too, running in and out of my Mom's sheets. I loved playing in them, I totally had forgot about that. I guess things wouldn't dry very well with the humidity. Have a lovely 4th!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope it isn't as hot as it has been.
Happy 4th July to you and all your family, Pam! Good answers there = like you, I'd rather put the clothes in a dryer, rather than on a line. I can well remember years (and I'm talking about 30 years here!), when we always used to hang clothes on a line and, in the winter, coming indoors again and almost crying because your fingers used to be SO cold!! Hope all is well with you.
ReplyDeleteFor cost saving purposes sun drying newly washed clothes is fine (a good
ReplyDeletewealth management move) . The sun has a contributes to a certain scent that only me find it nice-smelling.
Being Italian I guess Italian food is not ethnic to me, but I'm like you, not much for ethnic food. I used to love running between hung sheets...those were the days. Hope you had a great 4th ;)
ReplyDeleteI hope your 4th was a nice one!
ReplyDeleteI have never thought of Italian as ethnic but then again, it is my heritage so I grew up on it LOL
Sometimes I hang my line dry clothes inside, the sun can fade things too!
Cathy- Thanks! We had fun!
ReplyDeleteJudy- Thanks! We did enjoy ourselves!
Lisa- Do you know that we're not allowed to have clothes lines in our neighborhood? We can't have chickens either. Dumb. LOL
jennifer- Yep. Hate them all! But, not a fan of having a maid either. LOL
Michele- Thanks! Hope y'all stayed cool!
Kim- Wasn't that just so much fun?! Yeah, the humidity down here is horrible- nothing dries all the way on really humid days.
Diane- In the winter, we always used the dryer. Thankfully! Thanks for all the good wishes for the 4th!
just- I love the way the clothes smell when they've been on the line but not the way they feel. Plus, we're not allowed to have a clothes line in our neighborhood. Silly.
Alessandra- Nope, Italian food wouldn't be ethnic to you! LOL Me too! Thanks!
Lucy- Thanks! It was. That's true- the sun can fade things. I forgot that point.
