Soggy Chattin'

And Tuesday is a wrap! Except for one thing- a little chattin' it up on Patrice's porch. It's a soggy chat for us in the low-country of SC.

But it's NOT cold which I don't like at all. IF it was cold enough, the rain would turn to ice and we'd have to cancel school and I'd be able to stay home and enjoy the wet weather. But it's not. So we have school. AND, this morning, I had car duty. You know, where you stand outside and help all the car riders out of the car and cheerfully say, "Good Morning!" even though you are NOT a morning person? Yeah. And that's when I discovered that my jacket is NOT waterproof.

No matter now. It's time to chat with Patrice! And you don't need a jacket to join in the fun!

QUESTIONS
  1. Are you doing anything special for Valentine's Day? YES! I get to babysit our nephew's new baby. Remember the one that was born in November? All. To. Myself. That's right! I am NOT sharing him with the husband or any of the lovelies who may happen by because they know I'm babysitting him. WooHoo!
  2. When you attend something that isn't totally casual, are you likely to wear dress pants or a dress? Pants all the way- all the time.
  3. Do you use a regular toothbrush or one of the battery run kind? Regular one. The battery operated ones tend to make me lazy with my brushing as I let it do all the work. I also make sure my toothbrush is hard NOT soft. And my dentist can't understand why my gums are in such great condition. It's the toothbrush. Duh.
  4. Did you have valentines in school when you were a child? Yes. I wrote a post about that right here.
  5. If you could learn a new craft tomorrow, what would it be? Quilting. I really want to be able to do this but I do not have the time nor the patience. Oh, I don't have the eye for it either. Never mind. Maybe crocheting would be a better choice here.
Ok, now it's your turn! Head over to Patrice's and share what's on your mind!

  1. Oh, you're going to have such a great time with that little guy!

I'm with you on the toothbrush. I think they do a better job, too. But I also like the quiet of no loud buzzing in the morning. If I were a man, I'd never have an electric razor either.

  7. You made me laugh so much tonight!
I bet you have great fun with that baby, lucky baby and parents.
Sorry you didn't get a few days off for the rain, would be much better than standing in the car park in it. We don't have car duty here, but our govt. would probably bring it in if they heard of it so please don't tell them. They're always looking for ways to make us do more work, but for the same old pay, lol!

  10. Deb- I'm not either. And I don't see this changing in the near future. LOL

Mimi- I'll keep it quiet on the car duty because I know just what you mean about the powers that be finding more work for us for no more pay! Some things about education are, apparently, universal. LOL I'll have to share that book title with Birdie! Thanks!

Clairity- Oh, I can't wait! It's going to be fantastic! And I'll take pictures so everyone can be really jealous. LOL
