The REAL Wedding Photos

I haven't forgotten that I promised y'all a few of the professional photos from Birdie's wedding. It just took us forever to get them back.

They're here now, though. And I'll share some with y'all.

Here's what I have to say about them:

There were TONS of photos and I have been through each and every one of them.
Going through 1600 photos was exhausting.
I did narrow them down to 173 for the slideshow.
I chose the first song for the slideshow because Birdie is such a major Beatles fan, the second one is the one they had their first dance to and the last song is just one I picked because I was tired of thinking and it seemed like a good one. :)
This thing is LONG! Consider yourselves warned! LOL

In all seriousness, the photos do tell a story.

That was SO much fun!! You did a fabulous job putting those photos together. The wedding was beautiful and everyone seemed to have a great time. The photo booth is such a cool addition. Thanks for sharing. I know your daughter loves this!

Wow what fun!! I love that you have pictures of you too,
Was that picture of your Dad and you and your husband? I have never seen a picture of him before. Isn't it fun to go back and look and remember all of the fun things that happened?
Your songs, are on my play list on my IPod. That made me laugh, we even like the same kind of music. :) I loved those shoes that your daughter wore. They looked like the Dorthy's shoes in Wizard of Oz and I have always wanted some like that.

Kim- That is a picture of me, my dad and my sweet brother, Tony. I don't usually take pictures with the husband nor do I tend to post any of him. It's just best to leave him out. Reni looked all over for orange shoes she would love and finally found those on Etsy. Speaking of Etsy, I LOVE your hubby's trees!

Great wedding colors.

Welcome!

Being a transplant to the low-country of SC for 31 years is still not long enough to be called a ‘benyeh.’ If I stay until I’m dead I’ll probably go a ‘comeyeh’ since I am, originally, ‘from off’ (which is the upstate but, rules you know). By day I take care of my sweet little granddaughter, Baby M and do all those things I did when I was a SAHM raising four daughters which has translated to, ‘by day, I am exhausted.’ By night I blog, blog, blog, and blog some more or I sleep, depending on my level of exhaustion (do they still make Geritol?). I have a very unhealthy addiction to sweets (nearly any kind will do) and all comfort foods not covered under the ‘sweets’ category. I’m known for speaking my mind so, if you don’t want to know, don’t ask me. I love to find the humor in my empty nest life. I live life hard and smack into that brick wall almost daily because I’ve always had to learn the hard way. Why change now? I’m so glad you’ve come to laugh with me as I do this middle age, empty nest thing like a BOSS!
