Sneezing Hodgepodge

Y'all are not going to believe this BUT, we are having some cool-ish temps! I'm so excited! Do y'all have any idea how great it is to walk out the front door at 5:30 in the morning and not get knocked down by a wall of heat and humidity????? And to walk outside of school in the afternoon and make it to the car without wondering if someone will call 911 for you when you stroke out???? Pure delight these cool-ish temps are. Pure delight!

Know what else is a pure delight? The Hodgepodge! 

1. It's fall. Y'all. My favorite season of the year! What's something you love to do this time of year that makes you feel it's officially fall? And unrelated to that, do you ever say-'y'all'? Do I ever say, 'y'all'????? I'm from the south. Born and bred. Of course I say, 'y'all'. I love to get out my fall decorations and start drinking hot apple cider. 

2. When did you last have a falling out with someone? Has it been resolved? I don't think I've had a falling out with anyone recently. If I have, it must not have been very meaningful to me because I don't remember it. Ha!

4. What's something you've recently let 'fall by the wayside?' Everything in my house. It's a wreck. I need a maid service. But then I'd have to clean up before they showed up so.... 

5. When did you last attend an event, read a book, watch a movie, try a new recipe, or visit a shop-town-tourist attraction that fell short of your expectations? In what way? I can't really think of a time...everything's been pretty darn good lately. 

6. Describe a time you said or thought, 'The apple doesn't fall far from the tree." Every single time I meet some parents that thought occurs to me. I think it's self explanatory to anyone out there who has ever worked with children. 

7. Was today better than yesterday? Why or why not? Yes. Because it's one day closer to Friday! 

8.  Insert your own random thought here. As much as I love autumn, it brings with it a bad case of hayfever as well as the time for MAP testing. So, for two/three weeks, I'll be suffering through both. No matter. I still love the change in temps!
