This piece was inspired by the chain of love created by over 10,000 who gathered and walked the bridge last night. (The pictures are from WCBD except the last one which is credited in the lower right corner)
I'll leave you with the sermon from Mother Emmanuel AME Church yesterday, given by Reverend Goff. It was quite powerful.
The artwork is amazing. I have actually already listened to the sermon. That Charlestonians have pulled together in love is such a great example to the world. You can all be proud. May I share the artwork on FB?
ReplyDeleteDid you love the sermon? I did. It really spoke to me. It was the first time I was able to shed tears over the whole situation. I haven't been angry, just really sad. I'm sure April would love for you to share her artwork. Just click the picture for the link! Thanks!
DeleteYes. Well done indeed. I will share the link. Thank you.
DeleteLooks bloody great just saying
ReplyDeleteThis girl is one talented artist for sure. Thanks!
DeleteBeautiful artwork! Such a tragedy. Glad to see Charleston came together instead of falling apart!
ReplyDeleteI think so too. She's a talented girl for sure! I'm glad as well. But I'm not surprised. Charleston is like this. It's one of the best things about living here.
DeleteThe art work is gorgeous, and so moving! I just love the way the people of Charleston have behaved, and particularly the church members. Such a wonderful example to all. So many people who call themselves Christians are in the news lately for very un-Christ like behavior. Love in action is a beautiful thing!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is and I'm quite proud to be a part of this community. Even with the heat. :) April has raised over $20,000 with this print!
DeleteI saw that artwork on Facebook. I love it and shared it.
ReplyDeleteThank you! April has raised over $20,000 from the prints. She's giving it to the families.
