In honor of National Grouch Day, here are 10 things that make me grouchy:
- When people do not clean up after themselves, I get grouchy.
- When people interrupt me in the middle of something, I get snippy.
- When baseball is on television, I shoot death rays, from my eyes, at the station.
- When people take things without asking, I get steamy.
- When people do not do what they say they will do..Ok, well, not so much grouchy as I move on and no longer trust them.
- When people interrupt me when I am talking, especially if I am answering their question, I sigh. LOUDLY.
- When I get hot. Hot is not my friend. Kind of weird that I live in the low-country, eh? Since it's hot down here at least 8 months out of the year.
- When people ask me a stupid question (yes, I believe there are stupid questions) I give them a snort of derision.
- When people don't put things back where they belong, I nearly rage.
- When a football game does not go the way I wanted it to go, I pout and grump.
When people do not clean up after themselves...griping for all these years as not changed that and I am learning to clean up and not say a word.
ReplyDeleteNot returning things to their point of origin is high on my list. I have my own tool closet. Even my PINK tools have disappeared since SOMEONE can never find his own.
Not listening or not hearing when I am speaking.
Interrupting me.
I was going to write more but I think the root of all my evil grouchiness is my husband...so enough said! Love him but he is one sloppy grouch-causing male. There are only so many thing pretty rocks and wild flowers will cure.
I HATE it when people interrupt me. And these people do it all the time. ALL. The. Time. And it's not just the man who does all of these things. UGH. You mean rocks for throwing???? LOL
DeleteNot getting the day off for National Grouch Day - well that ironic twist would make anyone grouchy.
ReplyDelete#9 - yeah that one of the mysteries of the universe. When asked they just say they weren't done yet.
We certainly do have a lot of "days" to celebrate anymore. Next it will be National Wipe Your Butt Day! Lol. Like you, I avoid people and situations that would be make so pissed when I was younger. It's not worth it! XX
