It's time for us to march forward with this week's Hodgepodge!

2. Does love really conquer all? In my mind it does. As long as it's true love and not pretend love. Why or why not? Because love doesn't hold grudges or keep score. Love is forgiving and understanding. Love let's go and moves forward. Love is uplifting and positive. Love is truthful and courageous. Who wouldn't be won over by that?
3. Tell us about a time recently, where you really put your heart into something. I really put my heart into a particular Christmas gift. I've not put it in much since then, though.
4. What's your favorite fictional love story? That's tough, but I'm going to go with,
THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO. My favorite part is that, after all those years apart, their love is still alive and well.
5. Do you generally wear your heart on your sleeve, or keep your cards close to the vest? I don't like to admit it but I wear my heart on my sleeve and pretend not to do so.
7. When were you last 'tickled pink' over something? Thanksgiving. Explain. That's the day I found out I was going to have my very first grandchild!
8. Insert your own random thought here. Winter temps have arrived, which is a good thing. But they forgot to bring some precipitation, which is not a good thing. Basically, we're freezing, for nothing. :)
Ah, but there is a three day weekend ahead and that is better than nothing.
Have a great rest of the week, y'all!
I love The Count of Monte Cristo, the book and the film both. I'm so excited for you and your happy news!!
ReplyDeleteIt truly is a beautifully written book. I've been crazy buying baby stuff since I found out. This has got to stop. LOL
DeleteOh, I bet you were tickled pink over the baby news!! Congratulations! Your anacrostic is very clever! Loved it!
ReplyDeleteI was! And I haven't recovered yet. LOL Thank you!
Deletewonderful answers
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your answers, Pam! Tickled pink indeed over that baby news!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I read about Joe, I hope he's doing well! I'll be over to catch up this weekend but I've been keeping y'all in my thoughts and prayers!
DeleteWould it be wrong to tell you it was going to be in the 80s this weekend? Nope, not wrong :)
ReplyDeleteUGH. I can't take those. We're going to be cold through Tuesday of next week. But it's another winter without winter weather. No fun.
DeleteIt's -15F here this morning. We're freezing, as usual. Lol. Loved your acrostic and all your answers. I couldn't come up with a thing, so i just skipped it this time and moved on to Highland Cattle. Have s great weekend, Pam. xo
ReplyDeleteNow, any number with a negative sign ahead of it is not a real number. Haha! There is such a thing as too cold. I'd be in front of a heater until it warmed up to freezing. :) You have a good one too!
DeleteI'm still reeling from my Boomerang saga...have a blessed Valentine's Day.
ReplyDeleteI'll be reeling from my boomerangers for YEARS.
DeleteLove is funny, it can find you unexpectedly and yes, conquer all. I recently fell in love and feel like I can take on the world with my new guy.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! That is fantastic and I hope you have that happily ever after that some of us never had due to bad choices. Congratulations!:)
