We miss sunrise but there was no disappointment as the sun was perfectly positioned to shine its brilliance on the trees in just the right way to illuminate their colorful beauty.
This one is blurry enough that it reminds me of a painting instead of a photograph.
I did get Tuck to look at the camera but he lifted his head for a couple of seconds. It's like he was sticking his tongue out at me instead of licking whatever it was he was rooting around for in the sand.
There are loads of oaks and pines on the way to the marsh. I always appreciate the way the sun shines through the trees.
And on the marsh...
The path going back...it looks like a tunnel, doesn't it?
On one side of the end of the trail is a creek...
Though not a true fan of the pines, I do like how tall and spindly they are.
And how they look when the early morning sun shines on them, turning their green needles gold.
I always love seeing the heart-shaped leaves- sometimes they're red, sometimes they're yellow. Today, they were green.
The sky didn't disappoint either.
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood! What's going on in your neck of the woods?
Have a wonderful Sunday!
Here's a sample of some of the vintage Christmas coasters!
There are MANY more styles from which to choose!
AND new ones are in the works!
