And now, let's enjoy the last Hodgepodge of 2017!
1. Where have you found unexpected magic or delight this holiday season? Right here:
2. What's your favorite type of holiday gathering? The kind where all the lovelies are home with their SOs and the grands! Will you/have you gathered in your favorite way this month? It begins on Friday!
3. Time has named 'The Silence Breakers' (women who came forward with stories of harassment) 'person of the year' for 2017. Would you agree? ABSOLUTELY! If not, who do you think deserves the title? I think they made the right choice. This year.
4. How did you spend your time this year? Creating craftiness and enjoying grandchildren. Are you happy about that? Yep. Elaborate. I had a great time creating all sorts of craftiness for CoasterDoodles and honest.y, I don't think enjoying the grandchildren needs elaboration, does it?
5. Bid farewell to 2017 in ten words or less. Farewell, friend and thanks for grandchild #2 and Etsy cha-chings.
6. Insert your own random thought here. Christmas is almost here, Y'all! The gifts are bought, some are wrapped, some are waiting to be wrapped, others are in transit because online shopping is DA BOMB! Yes, I know we don't say that anymore but whatever, it fits. Ha! We begin the rolling of the balls on Friday (get your minds out of the gutter- cheese and olive balls and sausage balls) and NashvilleDaughter and DrummerBoy arrive that day also! This is shaping up to be a most wonderful Christmas for our family and I wish every one of you a most wonderful Christmas, too!
Completely agree-online shopping is DA BOMB! Maybe you and I can bring that phrase back : ) Have a wonderful Christmas with family gathered round!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Maybe we can. I mean, we're grandmas now and grandmas can do anything, right? ;) Thank you! Love and hugs and a Merry Christmas to you and yours!
DeleteI agree about your comment on online shopping!! Have a very Merry Christmas from one empty nester to another!!
ReplyDeleteIt's the best! I don't have to used bad words to people's faces when I online shop. Ha! Same to you!
DeleteHave a wonderful Christmas with your family, including those darling grandkids! I love my recent CoasterDoodles purchase. Nice work!! And isn't it fun to be out and about and hear your phone go 'cha-ching'!! That was brilliant of Etsy. And I agree that online shopping is the way to go!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, Pam!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you liked the coasters! Those travertine stone ones are my favorites but I was a little scared to try them at first. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? :) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours, Judy and enjoy that snow for me!
DeleteLove the pictures of "the grands". So sweet. I'm so happy ALL of your family will be able to gather for Christmas! Enjoy...and have a very Merry Christmas!

DeleteSo glad you are having sales on your Etsy Coaster Doodles. I've got to get busy on mine and add some new stuff (hopefully in 2018).
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!!
Well, some. Not even enough to make 4 figures but I'm told I need to be patient and maybe promote myself better. I can promote the heck out of other people but not myself so... Where is your shop? Do I already have it favorited?
DeleteJoe and I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas, Pam. I know yours will be FUN this year with those two little ones there and all the girls home. May your new year be filled with wonderful blessings!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much my lovely friend! We wish you and Joe and the family the best of everything this Christmas and 2018 have to offer!
DeleteYour Christmas card picture at the bottom has plenty of snow. I bet you are wishing for snow in your hometown. Those are fun pictures of the grands and your dog. Merry Christmas
ReplyDeleteI am wishing for snow. As a matter of fact, it's the only thing on my Christmas list. I think Santa is going to disappoint, though because the closer we get to the day the likelihood of snow lessens. We haven't had Christmas snow since 1989 and any snow at all was somewhere between 5 and 8 years ago. I am having a great time with the grands and all the kids will be here for Christmas this year so that is good enough. :) Thanks! And Merry Christmas to you and yours!
