3. Something that made you smile yesterday? This face:
4. January 30th is National Croissant Day. Do you like croissants? Well, I don't dislike them. Sweet or savory? That's going to depend on my mood of the moment. We're having chicken salad for lunch...would you rather have yours served on a croissant, a wrap, a bagel, bread, or a roll of some sort? I'd probably take the bagel because I'm in a bagel mood these days. As a matter of fact, I think I'll have one right now minus the chicken salad because it's a bagel mood not a chicken salad mood and because I am not in the mood to turn the chicken in the fridge into chicken salad because I do not have the celery or the onion or the mayo. Wait! I'm out of Duke's?!?! How did THAT happen?
5. Sum up your January in fifteen words or less. Delightful snow, daily granddaughter visits, weekly grandson visits kept post-holiday downers away.
6. Insert your own random thought here. I mentioned above I've been busybusybusy creating for CoasterDoodles. All I have to say is:
Those darn hot glue guns HURT.
Have a great rest of the week, Y'all!

I don't think that I've ever used the word "delightful" in the same sentence as "snow." Sounds like your days are busy with your darling Bug and your Etsy shop. Have a great week, Pam.
ReplyDeleteI doubt I would either if I lived above the Mason Dixon line. LOL It's a full life for sure! Thanks!
DeleteYou're one busy grandma!! And these little kids who become independent so quickly! Yesterday I tried to help our 3 year old grandson with his jacket. NO, I can do it myself. Want me to help with the zipper? NO I can do it myself.
ReplyDeleteNO! I don't want to hear that out of Marcy's mouth. Ever. Then again, yes I do because that means she's independent. Not that I'll like it but it will be a good thing. Oh goodness, I didn't realize grandparenting would be such a tug on the heartstrings. :)
DeleteYour grandkids are so cute! My grandson is about 2 months behind your granddaughter and he's talking some, but not much. However, he can say the most important thing...Gigi and it melts my heart every time.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. Marcy says Grandma to the point we understand what she's saying though we can't pronounce it like she does. Nevertheless, it is a heart melt. :)
DeleteI loved denim growing up! Denim everything! I loved my jean jackets too :)
ReplyDeleteOh, so did I! Jeans, jackets, I think I even had a denim purse. LOL
DeleteI love the first photo of Bug, that smile. :-)
ReplyDeletexx oo
Carla
Isn't she a mess? LOL
DeleteYeah it is February already, I lived in denim when I was younger
ReplyDeleteI did, too and I loved every minute of it. :)
DeleteIsn't it amazing how quickly today's children grow up and learn things?! Our youngest grandson sure did. Enjoy every minute while you can :)
ReplyDeleteKathy (Reflections)
It really is and I am cherishing the moments as they fly by right in front of my face. I'm realizing how truly blessed I am to have them living so close.
DeleteThat first picture is really cute. Here's the thing, I try to avoid using the word cute. I think it is over used. However, that is a cute picture.
ReplyDeleteHey I read something about a movie being shot in SC. Of course now I forget what the title was. Jamie Lee Curtis is in it. Maybe a remake of Halloween? Know anything about it?
Well, she is a cutie. LOL Yes they are shooting a remake or whatever of, HALLOWEEN. I only know this because I saw something yesterday about a sighting of Jamie Lee Curtis downtown and then you asked the question so I hit up Google. I do love Jamie Lee Curtis but I'm not a fan of many movies made post 1950s though I do have a few modern favorites. We seem to have run out of original ideas for movies or anything else for that matter. But that's a whole other discussion. :)
DeleteI love your random thought... I don't have thumbprints, I have exacto knife scars and glue gun burns a plenty. LOL
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Lori in Blue Ridge, GA
Girl, let me tell you when I pulled that glue off and my skin came with it I thought I was going to cry! PAIN. If I cut myself with an exacto knife I would have. :)
DeleteThat Bug is beautiful. Baby R is adorable! Hot glue burns HURT!! I enjoyed reading your HP, Pam! I'm with you on living in denim...but I DID buy them in 'that' size and still enjoy wearing jeans nearly every day.
ReplyDeleteAwww, thank you, Terri! I sure hope you and Joe get back this way one day and get to meet them. Next time, Y'all just come to my house and I'll make us a meal. :) I guess I would buy them in THAT size I'm just not sure they make them this big. Ha!
DeleteSo no more day care? She's back with you during the week? How great is that!! Enjoy your weekend. I'm just now getting to the Hodgpodges because it has been such a busy few days here. There's definitely a nap in my weekend : )
ReplyDeleteShe's been back with me since December. Her mommy was not happy with her being sick all the time and I wasn't happy with the daycare and her daddy didn't want her in daycare so...LOL Her daddy has started a new job, though and they offer daycare with the Montessori school right next door to his office. I've studied Montessori (in college) and feel Marcy is an excellent candidate for that form of learning so we're touring Tuesday to check it out. I'm a member of the local mom-to-mom connect and the moms in the area give it excellent reviews. Trust me, these moms are brutal so when they give good reviews, it's good. :) She'll be next door to her dad's office and only 10 minutes from me and they will still bring her to me a couple times/week because I just can't stand it if I don't see her and they're taking pity on me. LOL It seems everyone will be happy this time around and they know if it doesn't work out they can always bring her back to me. I like having an out and I think they do, too. Of course, if Marcy doesn't take to it, we won't do it or I'll just go over every day and take her out. Hahaha! I think I have a nap in my future as well. Have a wonderful weekend!
DeleteEnjoyed reading your answers Pam. Have a great week ahead!
