I did accept the compliments this time because this was not a simple, easy task. It took 3 hours and 40 minutes and Y'all can read about it HERE.
2. Ten little things you are loving right now. Creating, British crime programs, the diversity in my love of music, Spotify, Bug's laugh (it's contagious and adorable), morning coffee, Baby R's laughs, when Bug reaches out to take my finger and we walk together, Tucker's nuzzles in the morning to wake me up, morning texts...the list could go on and on.
3. Would people describe you as a positive person? More like a positive person wanna-be. Do you see yourself that way? If you're asking whether I see myself as a positive person wanna-be then, yes. I read here a list/description of eight things positive people do differently-
Positive people find something to look forward to every day, they celebrate the small stuff, they're kind, they stay busy, accept responsibility for their actions, forgive themselves, know when to move on, and resist comparisons
Which action on the list would you say you do regularly? I do several regularly: find something to look forward to every day, celebrate the small stuff, stay busy, accept responsibility for my actions, I know when to move on, and I work hard at resisting comparisons. Which action could you add to your life to give you a more positive outlook? I suppose I could be a kinder person but forgiving myself? Probs not going to happen. If you're a positive person, what's something you do regularly that's not on the list? I'm only a wanna-be but I remind myself to keep at least a small smile on my face even when I'm working.
4. Homemade chicken soup, beef stew, or a bowl of chili...what's your pleasure on a cold winter's day? I'll take any of them depending on my taste preference of the day since they're all so different.
5. The best part of my day is....This face:
And this one when he's here:
6. Insert your own random thought here. The only thing on my mind worth mentioning is the shooting at Marshall County High School yesterday morning. When will it stop? (Rhetorical question, Y'all.)

I know what you mean by certain complimenters! Some I call gushers, and their compliments are usually discarded because they don't seem genuine.
ReplyDeleteYour grandbabies are precious! Have a good week!
Exactly. :) Awww, thank you! I have to agree. They're fun, too. Also, exhausting. LOL
DeleteI always like looking at your sidebar as well as reading your hodgepodge. And about those coasters, I love my set of Christmas trees!! Have a great Wednesday Pam. Glad you included two photos of Tucker in there.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you like them! Those sold out fast and my local supporters had me busy making more that never made it to the Etsy shop! They were some of the most fun to make, too. :) Poor, Tucker. He puts up with so much around here. I try to reward him handsomely, though.
DeleteLove the sweet faces of the loves of your life. Enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I do, too. They keep me going with a smile and exhaustion. LOL
DeleteI certainly think you deserved the compliment on assembling that kitchen.
ReplyDeleteA shelf I ordered arrived yesterday. One look at all the parts was all it took and I handed the assembly challenge to our seventeen year old son. The directions were pathetic, but after some trial and error he got it done.
Blessings~
Gosh, that thing was difficult to say the least. I would gladly have handed over the assembly to the kitchen set had anyone been around that day. I think they were avoiding the house for a reason. LOL I don't know who writes the directions to these things but there is a lot of room for improvement!
DeleteEnjoyed your answers and I love the best part of your day!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! You can tell why they're the best part, right? :)
DeleteAh, yes the pups do have to adjust when a baby enters the picture. They do, but it's a little bit sad. My grandson is funny to watch as the dog leans in to give him a lick. It's like he knows to brace for it and scrunches up his face. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteThey sure do. Tucker has been a trooper and so has Marcy's dog, Strider but we still try to amend for the upheaval. :) When Tucker goes for Roland's face, Roland opens his mouth to kiss back. LOL
DeleteI absolutely adore your 10 favorite things! Impressive that you put that thing together...I don't care how long it took you!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I thought I'd never get finished with that thing.
DeleteHa! We titled our Hodgepodge the same! :) That kitchen is amazing! I love the color and totally impressed with your construction skills!!
ReplyDeleteWell, you know what they say---great minds..LOL She's having a blast with the kitchen set and red is my favorite so we're both winning. LOL
DeleteI love your crafted items, Pam. We get compliments on our coasters all the time. I enjoyed reading your Hodgepodge. Those two little ones are so cute and the kitchen is pretty amazing.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you are enjoying the coasters! The kids are keeping me busy but we're having fun! Thank you!
