1. What's a word that describes your life? Crazy. A word you wish described your life? Peaceful. Carefree. Relaxing. Take your pick.
2. Back in my day we did a lot of things that proved someone was praying for us because we wouldn't have survived otherwise.
3. When it comes to takeout are you more likely to opt for Italian, Mexican, or Chinese food? We're sort of half and half between pizza and Chinese. Does a typical week at your house include takeout? No.
4. Think about the people you most respect. This is the shortest list I have. What is it about them that earned your respect? Their honesty and sincerity. Their actions are purely motivated, they are nonjudgemental, they are kind-hearted, they stand up for their beliefs, they do what's right regardless of popular opinion, they try to make a difference, they fight for the underdog, less fortunate, minorities, even abused animals, they care deeply about the environment, etc...
5. What's something your friends might see and say is 'so you'?
If you're referring to attitude---
If you're referring to food---
6. Insert your own random thought here. Sunday is a big day in our family. Not because it's Easter or April Fools Day but because it's this kid's birthday!
I think you and I have a lot in common according to question #5. Have a wonderful Easter, Pam.
ReplyDeleteWell, that makes two of us. LOL Thanks! Give those pups a snuggle from me.
DeleteI always get a smile when I come here...thank you for that.
ReplyDeleteThank you for coming by! I do love it when I can give someone a smile or a chuckle. :)
DeleteHappy Easter Pam,
ReplyDeleteI like how you answered #4.
Happy Birthday wishes to your girl. My oldest has a birthday April 7th. Easter has fallen on his birthday too.
xx oo
Carla
Thank you. I'm not sure if I respect so few people because my standards are too high or the disappointment is too much. :) Love those April babies!
DeleteMy blog has been so neglected, and I keep saying I'll get back to it on a more regular basis but so far that hasn't happened. Still I'm not giving up because when I make the time for it I still enjoy it so much. Happy birthday to your girl!
ReplyDeleteMine, too. I'll start a post and think I'm not interested in writing that so why would anyone be interested in reading it? I'm in a slump for sure. I've had these before so I'm just waiting for it to pass. Absolutely do not give up! I love reading your blog! Thank you!
DeleteYou had some great answers today. #5 made me laugh as that fits me pretty well too. #4 is similar to what I said and I agree with so much and #2 is oh so very true!!!!
ReplyDeleteHahaha!Glad you liked it and share some of the same qualities. I feel I'm in good company. :) Oh yes, every time I look back I know without a doubt people prayed for me while I was growing up. Can you imagine surviving childhood shenanigans without that protection?
DeleteIt was good catching up with you through the Hodgepodge. I'll bet you didn't dream your life would be so busy (and crazy) at this point :)
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to your daughter! Ed's daddy was born on April 1, too. He always said "I'm an April fool."
Have a happy and blessed Easter,
Kathy (Reflections)
Claudia has always loved that her birthday falls on April Fools Day. It's fun to hear when others share that special day. No, I never thought my life would be so busy but I'm grateful for sure! Thank you! Happy Easter!
DeleteI loved your #5, and so true about 'back in the day!' I'm surprised we survived at all. Now there are all sorts of rules and regulations that we never dreamed of. Even my own kids climbed all the way to the top of the barn regularly to check on the baby pigeons. If I had known! Happy birthday to your Lovely. :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm surprised as well with all our shenanigans. LOL I was more in tune with what my girls were up to than my parents were with me. The kids went out in the morning and came back when the street lights came on. So grateful for my prayer warriors. :)
DeleteI laughed out loud at your responses to what is so you!!
ReplyDeleteGood! I love it when Y'all get a chuckle or an LOL!
ReplyDeleteI love your #5!! Thanks for the giggles! Happy birthday to your Lovely!! And love and Happy Easter to you!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! And you're welcome. LOL I'll tell her you sent a happy birthday to her. And don't forget to pull Villanova through for me. Bahahaha! Seriously, I have them going all the way and winning. I need them to WIN! WooHoo!
DeleteI think this weeks questions were a lot of fun! Happy Birthday to your special gal!
ReplyDeleteI agree and thank you!
DeleteBlack IS always a good idea.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more. :)
DeleteAlex, I take Peaceful. Carefree. Relaxing. for $1,000!!! So true about the prayers that saved our lives growing up. When I think of some of the crazy things I did I am lucky to be alive. Fun answer for #5. Enjoy celebrating Easter and the birthday!
ReplyDeleteYes, please! Will you be seeing the kids for Easter?
DeleteThe more black I wear, the more cake I can eat! Or is it the more cake I eat, the more black I need to wear? Either way...
