Smiling and Loving through the Medley
We've finally been getting some daily rain around here and it has made all the difference in the lushness of the backyard. And in how often the lawn gets mowed. It's all good, though! Just about anything is better than that nasty heatwave we had for a few weeks in May. Or all of May. Anyway, thanks to the rain, I saw these yesterday morning---
Ok, let's get to the Medley!
1. Tell us about a time you made someone's life beautiful or someone made YOUR life beautiful. These two make my life beautiful every single day!
2. Will you take on the challenge and smile more often on June 15th? Probably not since I doubt I'll remember. Why not start now!! Have you been blessed by a smile that changed your day? You tell me---
3. Terri is a cancer survivor. Cancer has touched most of us in one way or another. When did someone reach out to you with an act of kindness or when did you last perform a random act of kindness for someone? I am not a fan of telling when I perform an act of kindness but I don't mind sharing when someone shows me a kindness such as when TeacherDaughter randomly stops by and brings me my favorite coffee from my favorite coffee shop. That just makes my whole day.
4. Terri admits that this turned out to be not what she thought it would be. Our country has come a long way in recognizing that people are people and our differences are what makes life beautiful, but we still have a long way to go, unfortunately. Your thoughts? I doubt anyone wants the hear what I have to say as it would involve a soapbox so let's just leave it at I don't think anyone has any right to tell anyone who or how to love regardless of race or gender\sexual preference.
5. Had to lighten it up a bit. Terri is a total klutz in the kitchen. Tell us about something klutzy that happened in your kitchen... by you or another! Why can I never think of these when someone asks? Can you laugh about it now? Oh, I'm sure! Our family tends to laugh at ourselves and each other over just about everything.
6. Share something about your week so far, if you would. So far, this week has been quiet and calm which is the calm before storm Lula Mae comes to stay the weekend while her mommy travels.
